I first met James at a friends wedding and asked him to come and do some magic at a work event. Both times he absolutely blew people’s minds and was the topic of conversation for days afterwards!! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for any kind of event! Super professional and super talented!
James was absolutely incredible! Originally we thought he was a bit expensive but me and my husband are so glad we booked him and managed to fit him in the budget because he went above and beyond our expectations! All of our wedding guests have all had such amazing things to say about him and we haven’t got a bad word to say! His magic was outstanding, his hosting was perfect and his entertainment for the kids was incredible. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough! He certainly help made our day perfect and one everyone will remember 💜 10/10
We had Jamie come and perform a magic walkabout at our wedding. He was extremely professional, polite and great with his admin. Everyone was blown away with his magic and it really added to our day, we would highly recommend!

James attended our wedding reception at the Italian Villa, Compton Acres 29th Dec 2023. He was outstanding, energetic, enthusiastic and so personable. He was really thorough with his preparations before hand and on the day. During the wedding speeches James turned into Jamie Jigsaw for the children to enjoy his circus workshop. Again, every child loved their workshop and returned with a variety of wonderful balloon creations.Without doubt, we'd highly recommend James and his amazing wife who stepped in at the last minute to record our wedding day as she is a videographer. Her incredible attention to detail shines through in our video recording of our wedding day.An awesome team to work with. We will most definitely be using James Maidment Magician again.
James was booked for our wedding who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Arrived early with plenty of time and was brilliant with all the guests at the wedding. Delightful magic and great entertainment for every one of all opinions. Would be happy to ask for this services again.
So impressed with James at a wedding fare we booked him straight away. He did not disappoint in any way. Communication was excellent right from the booking , during the day (just to check we were happy and enjoying our day) and a personalised thank you after the wedding day. There was so much laughter and gasps of disbelief from tables all thanks to James. He compared the whole day and ensured it all ran smoothly. I absolutely recommend James 100% I don’t have our professional photos back yet but our photographer followed James to each table so I’m expecting some great photos
Wow! That was the word on all our guests lips along with faces of pure wonderment at our wedding recently. Jamie entertained our guests and we could not of been happier. His tricks are awesome his jokes funny and he is one of the nicest people we have ever met. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.
We hired James for my Dad's 60th birthday party at the weekend and WOW - we're so pleased we did! At the start of the party James entertained a crowd of children (aged 2 - 9) with a circus workshop, balloon modelling and magic wands. They absolutely loved it! James then moved around the tables, performing close up magic for everyone. He's tricks were incredible and had everyone crowding round to watch. James made the party even more memorable, and I have no doubt his magic will be a talking point with our friends and family for a long time! I whole heartedly recommend him, an incredibly talented magician, and a really lovely guy.
I was lucky enough to win James’s recent wedding entertainment package competition and I am so grateful that I did. James was the magician I never knew I needed! He was brilliant from start to finish, he amazed all our guests with his magic and so many of them said how fantastic he was. He even made some balloon figures for the children! I would wholeheartedly recommend James, even if you’re unsure about getting a magician, you need James!

James knows how to read the audience so well, perform amazing magic to varying age groups and is very easy to deal with to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
